Join other municipal professionals at this interactive conference. Attending will enhance your utility's eligibility for participation in future mutual aid events.
We recommend participating in this very critical conference to familiarize yourself with the inner workings of the mutual aid and support processes.
Whether traveling with crews across state lines or in-state to provide mutual aid or making a call for help, you need to understand the details of how mutual aid works.
This year’s conference will be a very special event. Amy Zubaly, Florida Municipal Electric Association’s executive director, will discuss the complex strategies involved in coordinating support efforts for some of the country’s largest municipal utilities. We will also facilitate a thorough review of our mutual aid efforts related to Hurricane Milton.
Who should attend?
If your utility is ever in need of receiving mutual aid or interested in traveling, in-state or out-of-state, to assist with mutual aid, this conference is necessary. Learn how to prepare for this type of event to evoke success. Leadership and crew personnel will gain valuable insight into the process and help MMUA improve coordination efforts.
Typical conference attendees include superintendents, general managers, city administrators, crew leaders, safety managers, and others involved with emergency planning within your city.
