Journeyman Line Worker Detroit Lakes

  • Detroit Lakes, MN is a thriving and vibrant community with excellent amenities, an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise.  Detroit Lakes Public Utilities Electric Department is looking for a Certified Journeyman Line Worker to join our Team. Individuals in this position perform the most advanced and skilled work in construction, maintenance, and operations of overhead and underground electrical transmissions and distribution systems.

Qualifications:

Minnesota State Journeyman Lineman License

Required:

• • • • High School Diploma or GED
      • Completion of a certified Line Worker Apprentice Program (8000 hours)
      • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Journeyman Lineman with rubber glove experience
      • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Pole Top, and Bucket Rescue
      • Class A CDL Driver’s License

Salary:

$94,162.00 ($45.27/hr.) – $97,136.00 ($46.70/hr.), depending on qualifications and experience.
