Water/Wastewater Operator II Mora

This full-time position will assist in operating and maintaining the water and wastewater treatment plants and operating systems. The individual must have the ability to read and interpret written instructions, gather and analyze information using computer skills with spreadsheets and electronic systems, and have knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical repair and maintenance. We will train you!! With the provided training, the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a MN Class D Water license from the MN Dept. of Health, MN Class C Wastewater and Type 4 Biosolids licenses from the MPCA within 18 months of hire, a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement license, and have the ability to obtain a land application sludge disposal license or endorsement.

Starting Salary Range: $28.90 - $31.90 per hour DOQ
Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Bargaining Unit: AFSCME – Utilities
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, plus weekend on-call rotations
