Information Technology Engineer Owatonna
The Owatonna Public Utilities is seeking qualified applications for the position of Information Technology Engineer. Duties include: the design, documentation, analysis, implementation, administration, maintenance, and support of the Owatonna Public Utilities (OPU) server infrastructure, network infrastructure, and all supported computerized systems/hardware providing a secure/reliable foundation on upon which all OPU customers and staff rely. In addition, this position will be responsible for the administration and support of other OPU technology systems and related hardware, including but not limited to CSM/CIS system (NISC), digital phone system, camera and card access security, printer management, user and device management, and backup/data management.
Qualifications and Education requirements are:
- BS degree in computer Science + 2 years work experience or Associates degree in computer science + 6 years work experience.
- Other experience: 5 years Windows client/server administration. Experience with next gen firewall configuration, networking equipment, knowledge of SQL server DB administration, all aspects of data integrity, user & developer support, end-user support, and knowledge of software systems.
Current salary range is $82,596.80 to $108,680.00. Starting pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
